TNPSC Group 4 2022 Notification Released

What is TNPSC Group 4 Examination?

The TNPSC Group 4 examination is conducted every year by the Tamilnadu public service commission for the recruitment for the various post like village administrative officer, junior assistant, bill collector, typist, and junior assistant in various departments. This examination is also called as combined civil services examination 4.

Date of TNPSC Group 4 2022 Notification:

The TNPSC Group 4 notification for the year 2022 was released on 03.03.2022. The last date for submission of the online application is 28.04.2022. The date and time of the return examination are 24/7/2022 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit for the post of village administrative officer is 21 years and the maximum is 32 years and 42 years for those who comes under SC, ST, and MBC categories. Age concession will also be provided for all posts for persons with benchmark disabilities and for ex-servicemen. Kindly refer to the notification for more details.

Educational and Technical Qualification:

The basic educational qualification required for the TNPSC Group 4 Examination is the candidate must have passed the SSLC examination or its equivalent eligibility for admission to higher secondary courses.

But there are different educational qualifications required for different kinds of posts, they are explained below. for the village administrative officer post, the candidate must have passed SSLC public examination. and for the typist post, the candidate must have higher grade typewriting certificate in both Tamil and English language.

Computer Qualification:

This year the Tamil Nadu public service commission has introduced a new technical qualification for the TNPSC Group 4 examination. Which is the candidate who are applying for the TNPSC Group 4 examination should have completed “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.

Knowledge in Tamil:

This can be said as a main and important upgrade that The Tamil nadu public service commission has introduced this year in TNPSC group 4 examination is they are going to check the candidate’s knowledge in TAMIL.

Examination Fees:

The examination fee for applying to TNPSC group 4 examination is RS 100. This should be paid only in online mode. If the candidate has a valid one time registration means they don’t need to pay any other fees. Those who don’t have one time registration active means then they need to pay rupees 150 for the one time registration.

Linking Aadhaar number with one time registration is mandatory for all the applications.

The one time registration is valid for 5 years from the date of registration.

Scheme/Pattern of examination:

The TNPSC group 4 examination is an single paper objective type examination, in which the question paper will be divided into two parts PART A and PART B. In part A it will have 100 questions which will have questions to test knowledge in Tamil and each question carries 1.5 marks.

Part B will be having 100 questions in which 75 questions will be asked from general studies, and 25 questions will be asked from the aptitude and mental ability syllabus. Each question carries 1.5 marks so in totally we will be getting 200 questions for 300 marks. The duration of the examination is 3 hours and the minimum qualifying marks for all communities is 90.
